It all goes back to an incident in which Bridges was accused of throwing pool balls at a car that was occupied by his children and their mother during a custody exchange. The court date for that incident was originally scheduled for November 2023 but got postponed until February 20 of this year. With the court date imminent, the state elected to drop the charges.
For the first time in almost two years, Bridges will be on the active roster without any pending court dates or criminal cases over his head. He’s still on probation and other restrictions as part of the original domestic violence charge, but there’s nothing looming anymore. Hopefully he’s able to stay out of trouble from this point forward for the sake of all involved.
